3 Tips to Level Up in all Aspects of Your Life!

How many times have you told yourself that you will lose weight this year, improve yourself mentally, or embark on a new venture? Yet, another year passed by and you are in the exact same place as last year?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then this blog post is for you. Today, I’m going to give you 3 tips that will help you jump start your goals to level-up in all aspects of your life.

According to Goalband and research by the University of Scranton  92% of New Year’s goals fail by January 15th, which means most people are not going after what they really want. Can you guess why this is happening? One of the major reasons behind this is due to procrastination.   Procrastination means putting off or delaying, especially something requiring immediate attention.

Think about it, how easy is it to put things off than to put in the work to get even a fraction of the task completed?  We’re all guilty of “putting things off”, but when it starts to affect our happiness, livelihood, and prevent us from accomplishing our goals, you need to take a deeper look inward to identify the reason why this is constantly happening. After you understand and determine the why behind your procrastination, it makes it easier to laser focus on what you need to do to break the cycle. Most of the time procrastination comes from a fear of failure, setting vague goals, limiting beliefs, failure to Project Plan, lack of motivation, and even plain ole anxiety.

Whatever your case may be, here are 3 tips to overcome procrastination and help you level up in all aspects of your life.

1. Believe in Yourself

“A man can’t be comfortable without his own approval.” ~Mark Twain

As basic as this may sound, this is extremely vital to your success; If you don’t believe in you, no one else will. It also makes it tough to follow through on any of your goals if you’re constantly questioning your decisions. When you’re indecisive, that leads to procrastination, so today choose to believe in yourself and your ability to achieve what you want.  Remember, your situation is unlikely to change, if your beliefs haven’t changed.

2. Project Plan

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” ~Jillian Michaels

If you want to successfully carry out your next project, planning is necessity. It goes way beyond a to do list. To avoid procrastinating on a project, write out all the steps you need to take to execute your project from the beginning.  List the action plans that you need to do under the steps, followed by the deadlines. Don’t worry if you’re unsure on the action plans, you can always revise it, because It’s very important for you to see a clear picture of your end goal. 3. Visualize

“Thoughts become things. If you see it in your mind, you will hold it in your hand.” ~Bob Proctor.

Visualization is a powerful tool to manifest what it is you want in your life. I know this sounds so basic, but how often do you do this?  Visualization is a key component to help you complete each of your daily tasks, that will help get you closer to your overall goal. I highly recommend that you start visualizing at the beginning of day. Go through each task you need to complete in your head and be sure to include any setbacks. Do this each day for 20 minutes and I guarantee you will accomplish more. Get more insight on how to visualize here
