In the past I often questioned where I was in life because things weren’t going according to the way I envisioned . I had personal and professional goals that I wanted to accomplish by a certain time. When those goals didn’t happen, I often had thoughts like… Why am I not in my ideal position by now? I should be making a certain amount of money. Am I ever going to get where I want to be? Why haven’t I met my soulmate? I should have this, I should have that, or I should be further in life by now. I realized that life doesn’t always work exactly the way we plan it. That doesn’t mean you’re not going to get what you need or want in life, it just may not happen at the time you intended it to.
The more I spoke to people about this and watched many motivational videos I gathered that most people struggle with this at some point in their lives. When I was an Admissions Counselor, I spoke to many students in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s about their goals and this topic always seemed to surface. If you have ever felt behind in life or are currently feeling like this, you are not alone.
If this something that you battle with on a daily basis, you have to get a handle on it before your emotions keep you behind in life.

This is one of my favorite looks because it’s in season all year around.
This black blazer from Express is a lifesaver, I often pair it up with my pencil skirt from ANGL and my go to black leggings. Could you believe I brought these shoes 10 years ago and they are still in style!

I love this blog post totally awesome. There was a time in my life where I felt like I was not where I needed to be. I would agree with you when you say trust the timing of your life because even though one might work hard and push things might not always fall into place when that person feel they should. And this is something I had to learn through time as well. One thing that I really like what your three tips are not comparing yourself to others that can be a big pitfall when working towards goals. I do believe that persistent inconsistent mixed with some determination will help get there when the timing is right. after all if you keep on asking the universe and doing the right actions eventually it will have to give you what you deserve.

Victoria,
I use to feel the same way until people start being real and telling me that they were once in my shoes. It’s my duty to give back and share my experience to help others. Stay Strong Victoria, your blessing is right around the corner.
