Ladies, let’s discuss one of the most important features on our face, eyebrows. Lets be real, when you speak to someone, it’s likely that the first thing you notice is a person’s eyes and eyebrows. At least that’s what I look at! When my eyebrows aren’t looking on point, I feel like my face doesn’t look as polished as it normally would.
I’ve been through it all with my eyebrows. I’ve had many amazing, as well as horrific experiences waxing my eyebrows. I’ve run out the door crying due to an over-waxing experience, and I’ve overly tipped after two well waxed eyebrows were revealed. Because of the inconsistency of my experiences, I would become extremely anxious when it was time to get my eyebrows waxed. After being introduced to threading, I soon said good-bye to waxing anxiety and hello to consistent and fabulous eyebrows.
1. No Dangerous Chemicals
There are no dangerous chemicals. Waxing contains harsh chemicals that are bad for your health. The ingredients include resins, carcinogenic parabens, artificial fragrances, and dangerous dyes.
You do not have to worry about any of that with threading because the removal method only includes pure cotton threads.
2. Good for Sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin threading is the way to go because you know longer have to struggle with having chemical reactions and skin damage. Even tweezing leaves skin raw, inflamed, and red. Threading has little contact with skin so there’s no skin damage.
3. Long-lasting
One of the other great things that I like about threading is that it lasts longer than waxing. It last for about 3 to 4 weeks.
Overall there’s less room for error because your practitioner is fully in control of the thread.
The process is quick, less painful, and gives you the attractive arch that every woman is looking for!
I like to emphasize on my eye brows in order to make them one of the focal points on my face. I use four products to give me that perfect brow.
If you are in the San Diego area, I highly recommend checking out Beauty by Dolly to end up with perfect brows! Be sure to ask for Samina, she is one of the best practitioners! Let her know that I sent you.
I use the Miani Easy Brow Automatic Pencil to outline the bottom of the brow and make the brow tail a little longer.
Then, I fill in my brows with M-A-C fluidline to make them a little thicker..
To make my brows stand out, I use Mac Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer, which I put under the outline of the bottom brow. I’m wearing NW 50!
Lastly, I put on Maybeline Great Lash Clear Mascara to keep my brows in place. I also use this on my eye lashes before I put on my L’OREAL Voluminous Superstar Mascara, which I’m obsessed with.
I’m wearing my all time favorite lipstick, via Glam Ariana Grande by Mac.
I want to hear from you!
How do you create the perfect brows and what is your take on threading verse waxing?

Can we just talk about your skin for a second…it’s seriously so flawless! I’ve heard really great things about threading but have yet to try it out. Maybeeee I need to because waxing makes my brow area breakout so bad afterwards.
